Hello all! I want to share with you guys something very exciting, just a few weeks ago I accepted an offer to travel to India with a team of 14 people to do some extraordinary work! Through Yorba Linda Friends Church our team will be partnering with Operation Mobilization and the Dalit Freedom Network.

On July 17th, we will set off to travel to Hyderabad and Bangalore, India for two weeks. While in India, we will go into the slums and villages with hope of creating relationships with the Dalit people.

The Dalit people or “Dalits” are considered the “outcasts” or the “untouchables”. They are denied access to public wells, public parks, basic medical services, and education. The ruling caste tells them that they are Hindu, yet they are denied access to the temples. Seventy percent of the Dalits live below the poverty line and only 10% of rural Dalit women can read and write. Dalit women and children are also often sold into prostitution as early as the age of eight years old. The Hindu scripture tells these people that it would be better if they were never born. Our team’s desired goal is to help end this abuse and liberated the Dalit people. Our purpose is to bare the love of Christ to the Dalit people.

Team members have been asked to raise the finances necessary to cover the expenses of the trip: approximately $3,500 per person. My team and I would greatly appreciate your help in raising this support. If you are unable to contribute financially, I ask that you would please pray that all the needs of this team will be met. Prayer is so important for this trip and for what we will be doing there.

So i'm not quite settled into my new place yet, but I already have some ideas about the decor of my bedroom. Unfortunately, i'm limited because I cannot paint the walls but here is an idea for my bedroom that can still have a similar effect as an accent wall. I'm working on the collage as we speak-going to thrift stores and boutiques to find vintage mirrors and frames. Let me know what you think of this idea!

It's becoming an obvious fact that Jack Siegel's work is genius. For some time now, I've been following his work, and today I just decided to take some of my free time to post some of my favorites with you all. As you all have probably noticed, most of them are taken of Willa Holland-I'm not surprised if she is one of his favorite subjects to photograph, but I find most of MY favorites of his work are of Willa (she's just stunning!). Many seem to make comparisons to his photography to THE COBRASNAKE, but in my honest opinion, I just think that they have completely different dynamics about their photos and should be recognized for that.

I've become very good at neglecting my blog, i hope it changes.

Here is a major highlight of my summer that I feel compelled to share.

Earlier this month I became involved in a local ministry that focuses on the youth in underprivileged areas of Placentia, California. This experience really touched my heart.
The ministry pretty much consists of loving people who devote their time to be a mentor to kids. We hold fun events for them like, bible studies, trips to the beach, movie nights, and tutoring during the school year-all while trying to raise money to make a difference in the neighborhood which is slowly being rid of drugs and alcohol exposure to the youth. A lot of the kids I encountered on this new endeavor welcomed me with open arms and smiles. Its something I definitely see myself getting more involved in the future. Below are some photographs of a water day that we had during this summer.

I find it appalling that I simply cannot find enough time in the summer to update my blog. Unfortunately with how things panned out I am forced to take a few summer courses. Thankfully there is only 3 more weeks left (thank GOD!).

Here are some updates:
- I went on an amazing lake trip up north, and I'm hoping to post some photographs up soon
- Apart from my busy academic schedule I have a very nice concert calender (Band of Horses, Copeland, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, and hopefully the Outside Lands Festival)
-My house is officially up for sale, so my remodelling was a little worthless.
- I've just about zero amount of shopping. Although i've definitely found some items I must have:

As a college student, balancing an academic and social life is no easy task. Luckily I have the occassional thrill of seeing captivating live music that throws me back into the right funk. Among the many interesting events I had lined up over the past couple of weeks, the most exciting one was heading out to the Los Angeles area to see Animal Collective.

From the overwhelming masses of hipsters to the sheer musical geniusness of the band, the Wiltern seem to be the hot spot of the night. For ANYONE that is a fan, I encourage you to see them live-its extraordinary! Not to even mention the best part of the night, meeting Noah Lennox (a.k.a. Panda) after the show!

Officially this week I will be starting summer. There was a minor mishap, but I settled things. By Wednesday I will FOR CERTAIN be free to roam beautiful beaches and travel to the many parts of California. I've been so busy, but I always found "time" to look at certain particular sites when I wasn't buried in my textbooks. (BELOW)

Since the merry summer days are arriving soon, I've slowly been inching towards filling out my calender. For the most part, I'll be spending most of my break at home here in Southern California. Surprisingly for me, I'm finding it to be actually a nice change. I'm use to traveling during my breaks, but I'm finding it pleasantly nice to get to relax at home. So today I cut my hair.

I walked into the salon for a "slight trim, more layers, same length!!"

I left the salon with 5 INCHES cut off :/

It's quit the depressing situation, but I'm trying to make the most of it.

(P.S. Note that the above photograph doesn't necessarily show the actual length of my hair, it's tied back in a hideous ponytail)

I have a big Induction Dinner for Phi Theta Kappa, and I'll be honest...I'm kinda worried on making my hair situation resolved. Please pray for me!! On the bright side, my friend has decided to lend me her precious Armani dress to wear tomorrow-let's all just hope it'll counter balance my lack of hair style (ha).

I MUST be on a concert/show streak these days! Today (or should I say yesterday?) I saw Judgement Day, Black Kids, and Mates of State :) it was a wonderful show!! Of course I opted to purchase the tickets for this event only for the classic performance of the amazing duo Kori and Jason. The two cannot be anymore wonderful. Unfortunately, I did not have a camera to capture the performance (it is quite a big dilemma considering I couldn't find my charger :/). I only left the venue that night with a few poor quality photographs of them on my phone and the memory of such an epic performance-I think I did pretty well!

By the way, just to make ya'll jealous....I just found out that I'm going to be seeing Animal Collective next month-wooohooo!

The Scoop

Bloggers i've missed you all! The ever so devious month of April has taken much of my blogging time with a heavy schedule. In a nut shell, I consumed the beginning of the month with finshing large assignments to get ready for my long overdue Spring Break. This year I took a trip up north to visit university campuses-which hopefully I will be transferring to in about a year or so. The following week after (this week) was the Jenny Lewis show (!!) and AS Elections at my college (which today I found out that I successfully won my position for, yay!). As most of you all know by now, I document most of my activities...so here's a little bit of a glimspe into what I was up to! Enjoy :)

SPRING BREAK-APRIL 6-12, 2009
A short description: we all took roughly about a 7 hour drive up north leaving the comforts of our Orange County homes and embarked on an adventure to the Bay Area. Here are the schools we visited: UC Davis, San Francisco State, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, and Monterey Bay State

As many of my friends know, I have the biggest girl crush on Jenny Lewis and upon buying the tickets to her show (only because I am NOT seeing her at Coachella this weekend-DON'T ASK ME WHY!! sad story) I could not contain my excitement, which most of ya'll probably won't blame me for :)
The show was everything I hoped for, aside from me meeting her part...none of us we're lucky enough :/
Other than that, she put on an AMAZING EPIC performance. All of us that night were lucky enough to view her documentary (which will soon be release to the public I believe) of the making of Acid Tongue. The opening band was Dawes, which by the way wasn't too bad! According to Tori, "I think they are a mix of Fleet Foxes and Ryan Adams." Some milestone moments:
1. was watching the audiences' reaction to Jenny playing "Godspeed" which she dedicated to all the women, one of which actually cried during the song

2. watching Jenny and Jonathan Rice cover "Love Hurts"-wonderful

3. lastly, nothing beats seeing them all perform "The Next Messiah", such an epic song!

Discovering the City of Angels

One of my very best friends Tori and I decided on taking an adventurous journey in to the city of Los Angeles. As many fellow Californians know, LA is filled with diversity and culture-which made the adventure over the last weekend even more worthwhile. Initally, we had planned to drive down for a concert, but decided to make it into an all day event :) Here is a small glimspe of our trip to Los Angeles, CA

First Stop: The Elliott Smith Wall (Silverlake, CA)
For anyone who understands the history and significance of this wall (turned into a memorial) can only comprehend how appreciating it was for us to visit this site. The works of Elliott Smith and the tragic death of him will forever be remembered by this memorial. Although it was such a great experience, I felt sadden by the graffiti that covered the wall; the harsh unnecessary remarks of the graffiti just broke our hearts. We left it by signing the wall with our thoughts to him, just as many others have done before. He is a legend and will forever be missed.

Second Stop: Lunch at infamous restaurant, the Ivy on Roberston Blvd. Which by the way, isn't all that wonderful as people made it out to be.

Lately i've really been spending too much time on Bona Drag, and it is definitely NOT good! Everything is completely out of my price range. I've been contemplating whether or not to buy this super cute 'hug me tight' necklace, but then I decided to turn it into a DIY project!

I hope mine turns out as good as this one! I haven't done anything like this for awhile, let alone making a jewelry piece...but we'll see! Here's hoping :)

The Transgression

In the process of reconstructing some certain aspects of my life-throwing out the bad habits and keeping the good, something just inspired me take on some real changes in my life and to candidly share with you all about my new venture. Oddly enough, I came to this realization after thinking about all of my daily fashion annoyances and how much I just put up with it. It is time to vent! For a comical relief I've decided to put a little something together to share a fraction of a bigger movement I am embarking on.

Sure we change our styles, our likes and dislikes but never have I been seeing such unusual stuff lately in our fashion world. Apart from current mishaps in fashion judgment [yes ok, I’ll speak for myself because some will just not agree with me!] I resurrected some old and current habits that really get on my nerves. Here are some fashion faux pas that resonate with me:

1. Ripped Tights: Gosh, I really do not see the purpose of this whatsoever! Call me old fashion but destroying a perfectly pair of leg wear to me is just sinful!

2. The “Fake Glasses”: We love nerds. Let’s face it, we do! The innocent studious "look" is such a big turn on for us girls (I won't disagee), but to me it seems a bit bizarre to invest into a pair of fake plastic glasses that for the most part, hold every other purpose in the world expect for impaired vision. The concept is just humorous to me.

3. The Baggy Beanie: Alright Alright, so I know people still like to rock this look but come on, i'm just over just seeing this look everywhere.

4. Wristband “Hairtie”: Whoever decided that wearing a hairtie as a jewelry component is seriously twisted! Ok, this may be less of a fashion faux pas than the rest, but I just gotta get it out there…doesn’t it bother anyone else?!

5. The Overly Teased Hair: There is no way this astronomical hair can possibly be natural. I accept the concept of people wanting to rid the flat "I need some volume in my hair" kind of look, but to the extent of giving youself a "permanent bedhead" kind of look seems just too over the top ridiculous!

I feel like such a cynic but I just had to get these thoughts out! Let me know what you think! As anyone else who blogs, I realize that I will come across others who disagree, but just to make it clear-I am in no way wanting to sound condescending or narcissistic. We are all entitled to our opinions, and I fully respect those who do make theirs apparent, regardless if I agree!

Apparently, first off I guess i'm the only one on Earth that didn't know that Ben Gibbard and Zooey Deschanel were engaged! Talk about being out of the loop...but anyway i'm so happy for them! They're super great together :)

I feel like I haven't blogged in ages, well seriously blogged anyway! I'm a little scared to check the blogroll on my bloglovin'-yesh there is gunna be a million updates! So that will definitely change soon considering I just got a ton of midterms out of the way!

I've been leisurely browsing the net and I came across some things on Bona Drag which has the most esquisite jewelry right now! I've decided that I am going to purchase these, but first i'd like to know what you all think!

Gosh this week has been HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I've been super busy studying for exams and turning in projects all week long and I still have two more days to go...

Consequently, i've been missing everyone! But I PROMISE to respond to all of my lovely comments soon, well...once this week is over.

On top of all my school work, I discovered something so sad that was just icing on top of a horrible week. My favorite and wonderful band Copeland announced their tour dates (which I have been counting down the days for!) and stated that they are NOT, I repeat...NOT going to the westcoast, but to the midwest and eastcoast!

All of this is just too much for me to bear, so i've decided that, it being a big possibility- I might just during my spring break hit their Texas show by taking a road trip with friends. It's one thing at least, to look forward during this week. I'm leaving ya'll with one of my favorite photos with me and the lead vocalist, Aaron Marsh :)

It is here! I was delighted with my very nicely UO packaged fringe blouse that arrived at my doorstep earlier yesterday! It is just wonderful! Being an indecisive person that I am, I'm contemplating whether or not to wear it tonight. Tonight is a special night, YLFC is hosting a Fashion Show for our non-profit organization to help those who live by in local city. It has been done in the past, and has (so I've heard) had an outstanding turn out! I can not wait to see what it being modeled :) With that news, I'll be posting some photos soon from tonight's event!

Other news, yesterday was a very very interesting night. I participated in a event called 'The Amazing Surburan Race' very similar to the Amazing Race. This event turned out to be very similar to an extreme scavenger hunt, if anyone ever played can voche for me that the things we have to find is ridiculously crazy! There was one task that was so unbelievable that I just HAD to share with my fellow bloggers. The task was to crash a wedding and take a photograph with the bride, and YES we did it!! I've never felt to nervous and guilty in my entire life, but the bride was extremely sweet and opted to participate. The night was definitely one that would go in the books forever! I came across this hilarious photograph of my friend and I earlier today, and decided I had to share it with you all :)

I felt so unproductive today, and I looked at my closet and realized that I was just getting bored with my wardrobe again...
I couldn't help myself when I went on UO online today and saw this Silence & Noise Fringe Cami, it was a steal!

Another interesting thing to address, among my complete nothingness of today I came across this video of Jenny Lewis and Jonathan Rice. Anyone who is a fan has to watch this video...it is completely random and crazy. Amongst the obvious 'funny' factor of it, Miss Lewis still gives such a great performance:

This has been long overdue, but i've been meaning to blog about this photograph because this photographer is just too amazing. More so, her techniques of photo editing is phenomenal. I love the colors of this photograph. She took a plain brown room and turned it into a work of art. So I give a BIG thank you to my friend Brittany, she did a wonderful job! In addition, i'm hoping to get a lot more photography in soon. I've been super super busy-I hope the spring will come sooner than expect...lately the weather has been so nice in California. It'll make great for some upcoming shoots.

Another note, completely seperate but just as blog worthy...i've found an artist that I could not help but share with you. laura bell is just so inspiring and talented. These painting are so exquisite and timeless-the patterns and textures really caught my attention. My gosh, I love these pieces they're just breath-taking!

Today has been super busy (and it still is!), but i'm just dropping by to let you guys know what i'm being featured in a blog called FASHION JINX-check it out!

So, I have this crazy obsession with wearing my skirts as shirts, it's kinda an issue...turning into a habit I suppose...is it a bad one? I don't know, you tell me!

And the lovely July Girl of 14 tagged me for '6 Random Things About Myself '. Considering I am the most random person you'll EVER meet, it was a tough decision to decide on some interesting picks. Here are my six:

1. I am an artist of all sorts. I love photography and i'm passionate about art-I love drawing, charcoal is my life!

2. I have family all over the world, from Austrailia all the way to France

3. I am an only child of my parents, but I have a total of 4 siblings who all differ a little from ethincity as me

4. It's a little cliche, but music is my life...there is not a day that goes by that I don't listen to some tunes

5. I use to be a dancer, and I miss it very dearly...especially ballet

So not too long ago I was tagged by the beautiful Esther of rhapsody in boots for a unique post, "Show off your blog workspace."

Here's a little disclaimer: I'm in the process of redecorating my room. It has been a process that has long gone over it's due date, so excuse the ugly dated furniture! Hopefully it'll be done by spring.

- Well obviously the first photograph is the doorway into my room. I've been finding old polaroids from all sorts of years and collaborated it into a collage in the shape of a cross. One of the many things I do when i'm bored-I make things :)

- The second photograph shows off this lovely chandelier I bought online. I was super excited to get it, but to my dismay it turned out being a lot smaller than I expected. Nevertheless, i'm still enjoying it very much. The process of installing the light fixture was a nightmare!

- Ok, so this desk is the worst piece of furniture in my room. I can't wait to get rid of it. As you can see, I have my usual flashcards and smart water (i'm always studying) and my planner, which I would DIE without. These curtains went very well with my room before I began remodeling, I need new ones.

- This doesn't necessarily fall under my blog workspace other that it makes it easily visible for me to see what i'm typing on those late nights. I love this light fixture. You might notice it, it is from Urban Outfitters. I love their furniture!

Brutal is the one word that can describe this week! I've been SUPER busy with midterms and other commitments, I haven't been able to blog about anything. Anyway, there is still NO UPDATE yet for South Africa...it's killing me. Hopefully i'll find out within the next week. Here is a photo of a pair of jeans I've been wearing recently...they're perfect. Cute and nicely fitted, and completely free, courtesy of my mother!

So, it's the big day for a lot of couples all over. Some recieving an 'I love you' for the first time, getting engaged, recieving bundles of flowers and chocolate and maybe a little extra :) This year's Valentine's Day is special to me, because I am spending it with someone special. As most people know, i've never been one to really celebrate this holiday so my only vice is to let those who I love to know that they are loved.

Among other thoughts on my mind, I just purchased tickets to see Kings Of Leon this morning with a few friends, a great way to start off a Valentine's morning I believe. It'll be wonderful and glorious...and I just can't wait. Because these tickets were purchased, the possibility of me going to Coachella is really getting slimmer. Gosh, I don't know what's going to happen...I guess we'll see.

*because there is just so many things that make me happy, the six i'm listing are things that are currently circulating in my little head of mine
*i'm making a desperate attempt to share something that isn't predictable of me(haha)

#1: Funny that I start off with something as unusual as this, but I recently discovered this book again in a dissholved little corner of my room and began re-reading it again. Anthony Burgess is so talented, yes 'A Clockwork Orange' is really dark and horrifying but it holds deep insights in this complex world of ours. It makes me happy to think that nothing is perfect in this world as much as everyone is trying to make it out to be. Of course it did catch Andy Warhol's eye, come on...

#2: It's amusing that Greece makes me so unbelievably happy and I have yet to travel there. Nevertheless, it's has and always remain as my number one destination for me. I love the culture, the isles and the beautiful ocean, the food, the people, the structures and history. It's just all too stunning to me.

#3: Ryan Adams...need I say more?

#4: I once told myself that I would marry someone who would make me a falling garden. I wasn't lying. This beautiful piece was created by the artists GERDA STEINER & JÖRG LENZLINGER who amazingly developed,

Yesterday, I had a splendid day of shopping. The economy these days is just horrible, so it was a relief to discover some great finds at the local thrift store. Here is what I found:

A great shirt/tunic, I can not wait to wear this baby with some cute leggings and heels

This purse caught me off-guard pretty quickly when I scoured the store. I normally carry large bags, but this would be a nice change for me. I love the color and the texture.

I'm not too sure why this photo upload sideways, but I think you all can get the jist. This cardigan type cover was something I contemplated on buying. The shape of it kinda drew me away for awhile, but I've grown to love it!

This beautiful blouse is one of my favorite things I purchased. The silk and the lace are so esqusite. It drapes over me really great, so im super excited to match this with other things in my wardrobe.

These boots wins for the best find of the day for me. The burgandy leather was just what I was looking for. I've been getting into more red shades in my looks, and I was so excited to find these. For awhile I've been look for studded shoes that aren't too obvious and cheesy, and I think these are just perfect!

I love the white and gold. I've always though that these colors went well together. I'm glad I found this, I was in dire need of a belt.

These shorts we're a no brainer for me. I love the buttons of the front. I thought it was a nice touch to a pair of high-waisted denim shorts.

...and I wore the boots today woo hoo! Unfortunately to my dismay, my alarm went off late and I had an early morning class. Coincidently we had our first test today as well. Well, my new boots didn't feel too sympatheic...long story short, I twisted my ankle :(

Today was absolutely gloomy. The rain in Southern California got the best of me, I've been at home lounging and taking naps. In addition, my friend was over to look at my new dress that I purchased at a thrift store (see above). Safe to say, we really weren't up to go venture outside. It was a lazy day and I honestly needed one.

Aside from that, I've been nervously counting the hours till my interview at RockHarbor. I can't imagine those three weeks I might be spending in South Africa. It's a beautiful place with a beautiful culture, but also a place in need. I'm really hoping that I can finally feel the security of helping someone in need across the world because it truely has been on my heart forever. I've done some work here in the states (and I'm planning on continuing to), but the places abroad sometimes are just never thought of. It'll only bring me comfort to aid to those who are unfortunate. These people need to see the love that we have for them, and I feel more than ready to make that happen.

Upon many courses im taking this year, I've strongly become keen on the study of sociology. Quite recently, i've been faced with social situations that have given me a great deal of intrigue. What really causes us to act the way we do? Well, regardless, my naiive self seems to claim to know all facts, which coincidently makes for great discussions in class. Besides that, i've been locked up in my room studying for a crucial midterm. I'll admit...i've escaped a few times.

On another note, i'm interviewing for another missions trip to South Africa...wish me good luck!

Good golly, it's been awhile since i've posted an entry. In fact, I have tried a total of two times since my last entry, but something about this site deleted it in the process of posting...I have to admit that it made me sad. I've learned my lesson and now i'm copying and pasting it a document just in case! And yes, I do believe that I just sounded like a complete loser :) Anyhow, these past weeks have been a real journey. I honestly cannot say that I have enjoyed all of it either. Nevertheless, I did get to spend quality time with my best friend, which was very much needed. On the contrary, because of the sudden end of winter break, my functionality along with my studying demands didn't contrast well at all. I believe that i'm still in 'vacation mode'...and it needs to end ASAP. Some recent updates: i've decided to join into 2 extracurricular activites this semester, one is AS at Fullerton College-it's basically the Student Government of the school and i've placed myself in 'publicity' where it thought fitted well with my personality. Another that I have joined is, Phi Theta Kappa (PTK)-an honor's society group which focuses on many things, one of which is community service. I'm estatically excited to get back into community service. I believe that it is one of my true passions in life.

With that, i've also applied to a ministry trip Uganda through RockHarbor. I'm so excited for this opportunity, but i'm trying my best not to give my hopes up because I know that this is really competitive. Regardless, I do feel called to do something there, so if I do not get accepted, i'm pretty certain that I will travel there.

Aside from that (I have plenty more updates, some of which will just be a bore), I have refreshed my brain and decided that I have really been lacking on my Lookbook and blog. As a result, i'll be having more posts soon.

So tonight was a quite amusing. I really had no intention of ever leaving my house, and considering that I woke up super late (i'm not even going to say the time because it is so late that it is embarassing) that I figured everyone alreadly made plans. Then I realized that I had made plans to go to RockHarbor earlier the day before and that I was going to get picked up in only a half an hour. Little did I know that my friend was having car troubles (she locked herself out of her car ha) and I had quite enough time left. Long story short, I had to walk to where she was so we both could get picked up, and I was dressed really horribly. I was dressed in black leggings, a white tank, and a red plaid shirt with a brown belt. It wasn't my best outfit yet, but I guess it was ok because some complemented it. I love those accidental mishaps, they only come every so often. It ended with a really confusing twist of events. I was left stranded at a friend's house until someone who I didn't even know kindly took me home. Gee, what more randomness can I get into over this break?

Well, it is 12:00 AM, and Christmas is officially over. Normally, this season brings a joy to my heart and an undescribable excitement-but this year things just don't seem the same. Maybe it is because i've grown up and I don't enjoy the same things as I use to, or maybe my first semester of college really did take a toll on me. Whatever the case, a new year is coming soon and i'm more than happy to welcome it. I'm in great need of a brand new change. I'm excited to embrace 2009, i'm hoping it'll be better than the last. I don't see why it wouldn't be. This year's Christmas was a bit different than last year's spent with my best friend. For the Christmas celebrations of this season, we travelled to San Diego, CA. There I attended two parties. One, with my mother-and our very close family friends. We enjoyed a tradtional Christmas dinner and exchanged gifts. What became a highlight of that night was enjoying their artwork (post above). On Christmas Day, once again I travelled to the same city-another two long hours on the road, to spend the day with my father and his family. We celebrated with the usual dinner, and catching up with our enormous family. All together the celebrations were as expected. Presents recieved the similar expectations. I had very little on my wishlist, just a new leather jacket and a few cute pairs of shoes(which I recieved from my mother). Other than that, I got the usual gift cards, money, and clothes. It has been a busy few couples of weeks and i'm excited to relax and enjoy the new year.

Tonight was full of complete and utterly odd moments. We all went over to Sarah's for her big Christmas Party Bash. With the plans of this get-together being broadcasted since the end of summer, everyone knew about it and it had become the complete hype by the month of December got near. I headed down to her house with my BIFFIE and our other two friends at 7:30pm arriving early to help out (long story: where everyone was during our drive up) with the cooking. We got there and helped her finish the last touches to her dessert goods, and waited around aimlessly until the arrival of the rest of the group. About 30 people we're crammed into our friend's house that night. I felt a sense of contentment as well as unease because of the new additions to our tightly bounded group of friends. I immediately felt thrilled to see everyone home for the break, but felt like it was all to surreal. After lots of hugs and catching-up, we all took a ride to East Lake Village to look at Christmas lights-to some just wasn't the biggest highlight of the evening, then headed back towards her home to later meet more people and lounge around. It was quite an interesting evening. With the fall semester done, everyone seemed excited for break but a little less than normal to be fond of the reunion. With that said, i'm leaving with a photo of me and the lovely host :)

My oh my.
(THERE WAS 4IN OF SNOW TODAY IN MOUNTAIN HIGH! HOORAY :] )

Finally, my first semester of college is done and over. With massive study schedules and term papers, I reluctantly had put aside my development of my blog. Thankfully it is all behind me and I hope to get a decent grade point average for this fall and create a fair amount of postings.

As much as I enjoy the holidays as everyone else in the world, the stress and toll of college had somehow found a way to distract me from this merry month. Thanksgiving went by like a breeze and now Christmas is almost here-and i'm not prepared for it at all. The usual shopping that consist of my regulatory Christmas tradition is pretty intense and time-consuming. This year I really haven't been able to put my whole heart into buying gifts and making all my plans fall through. It saddens my heart, but i'm hoping for a christmas miracle!

So far, i've developed only two ideas for some gifts of the season. One is for my mother, a beautiful drawing (i'm hoping to finsh by the day of) and a precious blouse for my best friend from Nordstrom. Two down, and many more to go...

This year has brought a different light to my wish list. We we're granted an abnormal ice-y cold weather here in Southern California, and with that said-I invested in developing my list with this year's warmest clothing. Winter wear, has been a huge favorite of mine throughout all the changing seasons, and i'm more than estatic to see what my presents have in store for me.
